A 3-month practical programme helping organisations that work with children become more accessible and inclusive for neurodivergent children and their families.

CLARITY
Understanding where you are now
We begin by looking at what is already working well and where children, families or staff may still be experiencing barriers.
The aim is understanding the real experience children and families have, and identifying the changes that would make the biggest difference.
This may include reviewing: your current provision or service journey,
booking, arrival and communication, staff confidence, sensory and environmental pinch points,
transitions, group activities, how families share information about their child and what happens when a child becomes overwhelmed or distressed
Impact for your organisation:
We will make a 90 day action plan so you have better clarity, stronger decision-making and a more focused plan for improving family experience, staff confidence and access.
CONFIDENCE
Equipping staff with practical tools
We build staff confidence through practical, neuro-affirming training and support.
The focus is not on overwhelming teams with theory, it is about helping staff understand what may be sitting underneath behaviour and what they can do in real moments.
Training may include: understanding behaviour as communication, sensory and emotional regulation, inclusive communication, supporting transitions and changes, parent and carer conversations, adapting activities without shame or exclusion, scripts and simple tools staff can use straight away

Staff feel more equipped, responses to inclusion become more consistent, and families experience calmer, more confident support.
CHANGE
Turning learning into everyday practice
We move from learning into implementation and look at what needs to change in your everyday systems, resources, communication or delivery so neuro-inclusion becomes more consistent and sustainable across your organisation.
This may include: reviewing your 30, 60 and 90-day action plan, creating or refining practical tools, improving parent/carer communication, developing staff prompts or checklists, strengthening reasonable adjustment processes, creating a clearer support pathway and reviewing what has changed and what still needs support.

Neuro-inclusion becomes more embedded into everyday delivery, instead of depending on one person or one training session.

Who is Nicole Bateman?
Nicole Bateman is the Founder of The Friendly SEND Advisor, a neuro-inclusion trainer, and a former teacher with 11 years of classroom experience. As an ADHDer and a mother to an autistic son with epilepsy, Nicole is on a mission to ensure no child misses out on activities they love.
She provides practical and engaging neuro-inclusion training to help children's activity providers and family-facing organisations ensure every child feels safe, understood, and included. A recognised leader in her field, Nicole was named on the Top 100 Female Founders List 2026 and is a Theo Paphitis SBS winner.
